Geological Location

The geological location in which the excavation unit of the Company is based is part of a wide area which is mainly constructed of asbestos rocks with a strong presence of solid remains  from oceanic organisms (some of which are partly fossilized), mainly “foraminifera algae, bivalves” and asbestos stones with a characteristic presence of thin covers of crushed rock and large seashell fossils.

The nature of the deposits used, constitutes the most important factor for the competitiveness shown by LATOUROS in the Market. The quality of the deposits as well as the proper mechanical equipment determine the high quality of the finished product.

The whole development and process of the company is based on Environmental Researches which are prepared by recognized firms (Geoinvest Ltd) and are approved by the appropriate Government Departments every 2 years.
