The company has recently installed and successfully started up
a fully automated water recycling plant a unique installation in
Cyprus, Greece and the Middle East. The aim of the company is to
minimize the environmental impact to its minimum and to preserve the
water consumption as much as possible.
The whole system recycles 1000 cubic meters
of water per hour, which is the quantity of water needed by the 2
production plants for the washing of the sand.
The dirty water after the washing of the sand, by underground pipes
goes to the recycling plant. The slurry sediments in the
thickener (photo - right) and the clear water is send back to the
production plants. Then the slurry is pumped to the filter
presses where it is filtered (photo - down left) and after
filtration is comes out from the presses (photo- down right).
This mud is then used for the setting of the finished excavations.
